A recipe after my heart, to be sure, Donna John . 2 freezers full of ground meat? How lucky you are! We're paying $4/# when it's on sale, and we live in the prime beef capital of Canada! The problem is - the majority of the big stores receive their meat prepackaged and priced, from the other side of the country. Something is wrong with this picture!

My husband is a hunter. It's a blend of 50 percent deer and 50 percent brisket. Good stuff! But I still call it "ground beef." :) Beef has gotten expensive, so I appreciate the freezers full of it. Hope you enjoy this recipe. My husband loved it. Already requested it for the next trip to the deer lease. I'm in because it's so easy to make.

This was delicious! So full of flavor and just an all around great comfort meal! I love how cheap it is and how fast it comes together. I made it with ground pork the first time and that was also really good! I just added a bit more beef stock and worchesterchire to beef it up lol! Definitely a new addition to my rotation!
